Overseas Baluchs struggle to save 11 people in Iranian Baluchistan

Oslo, July 1, 2008 -- Overseas Baluchs  based in different countries have launched a campaign to safe the Baluchs in Iranian Baluchistan from death plenty. According a report at least 11 persons were arrested in a crackdown in Nasir Abad City of Sistan-Boluchistan of Iran on June 16, 2008. Four people were injured in the operation. 

Baluchs based in Norway and other countries have feared,  the detainees would soon be hanged in light of order of a local Iranian revolutionary court.  They believed that seven of prisoners are under 18 and it is duty of the international community to save the people from the capital punishment. An Independent Baluch Intellectual, Ehsan Arjemandi said, this is very serious matter which is related to rights of human beings. European and other western powers should take immediate notice of the issue.
