Norway's
Cricket Association organizes historical indoor
league, Says Yousaf Gilani Secretary General of the

Norway's Cricket Association arranged an historic indoor
league that has been named the Sunday League. It is for
first time an indoor league to be launched in Norway.
Matches will be played in Dramme’s Hall and Ekeberg in Oslo.
Yousaf Gilani Secretary General of the association in a
statement issued here on Friday said, the series to be
started on Sunday 07 February 2010, at 12 at Drammenhallen.
Cricket is the world's second largest sport and the fastest
older sport among minorities in Norway. The teams in Norway
has long expressed a desire to play indoor league. This has
not been possible previously due to lack of hall capacity.
This year, only 10 teams to participate in the Sunday
League, which starts Sunday 07th February at 12 in
Drammenshallen.
Indoor cricket is Maintaining viewer friendly in terms of
audience, there are a lot of speed and excitement. The
Indoor Cricket has grown strongly in Europe.
For 6 years since Norway participated in the U-19 indoor
tournament, in which Norway sensationally beat Ireland in
the opening round.
Norges Cricektforbund (Norwegian Cricket Association) are
now working to get resumed participation in the European
indoor championship.
There has been heavy demand for this year's Sunday League.
Norway is the northernmost country in the world where
cricket is played and it is growing up fastly.
