Oslo, Feb 28, 2010 – Thousands of the people from different walks of life attended the Namaze Janazeh of assassinated Norwegian Pakistani Faiza Ashraf (26) on Friday afternoon.

The praying ceremony over the dead body of late Faiza held at Mosque of Jamaate Ahle Sunnat at Grønland in Oslo, the capital.


Maulana Syed Neamat Ali Shah, the imam of the mosque led the prayer for Late Faiza and most of the participants in the namaze Janazah were Norwegian Pakistanis.

The Imam in his speech after reciting the Quranic Verses and narrations of Islamic history referred to the tragedy of Karbala where Grand Son of Prophet of Islam, Hazrate Imam Hussain (A.S) gone through the tragic event and martyred at least with his companies. The Imam of mosque urged the sad family of Faiza to have courage to hold the sadness.  

The religious leader said, we can see in Karbla, It was grand son of Prophet who took the dead bodies of all the martyred from his companies including his 18 years son, Ali Akbar on his shoulders and after the martyrdom of all men of the family of prophet, grand daughter of prophet, Hazrate Zainab had led the women and children in very critical condition.

The speech of Imam of Mosque Ahle Sunnat caused crying of many of participants the funeral ceremony on the tragic assassination of Faiza Ashraf.

Her family was in pain, they are clearly marked by sorrow, of course. All are strongly affected by this incident. There were many in the mosque who did not know Faiza personally but they were depressing on the event.

All of the people attended the Namaze Janaza express their sympathy with the family and also condemned the asasination.

Almost of the family and relatives of late Faiza Ashraf attended the namaze Janazah. 

After the Funeral of Faiza her body was took into a special vehicle for graveyard near Oslo. According to the decision of the family her dead body was buried at a graveyard near Oslo.

Community welfare Attache' of Embassy of Pakistan, Sheikh Shiraz Ahmad attended the memorial ceremony on the behalf of the Embassy.

Faiza was missing for three weeks before she was found dead Feb 25, 2010 (Thursday) under the soil and snow at a mounting locality nearby Oslo. A 25-year-old Norwegian man confessed to abduct and kill the 26-year-old Faiza for money. According to police report, the money was promised by a Norwegian Pakistan taxi driver who is already in jail in this case.
Some of the sources said, the taxi driver was fell in love with the late Faiza but she always refused him. At least, he took revenge from her by hiring a Norwegian killer on promise of Norwegian Kronner.100,000 for the crime.

The Norwegian media reported, the two men had finalized the plan a day before the incident at Statoil station at Skøyen (Oslo). Later on they met again on the second day in the morning at the spot earlier to abduction.
Faiza Ashraf was attacked and thrown into the trunk of car by the 25-year-old Norwegian man at 06.45 of Feb 3, 2010.
On Morning of Feb 25, 2010, her body was found hidden under the snow and soil in a ski resort at Solli in Asker about 30 Km from Oslo central area.

Faiza’s family had come from a small village in Tehsil Kharian of Pakistan about three decades to Norway.
