Oslo, March 20,
2010 – Five real Norwegian Pakistani brothers and their
parents found guilty in the mafia crimes in Norway. The high
court in Oslo sentenced all of them imprisonment
respectively on Thursday.
They were
accused by the Norwegian Police for possession of millions
of black money and insurance fraud.
They were
found guilty extortion of several million valued apartments
in Brazil and in Oslo, Rolex watch and diamond and other
jewelleries. The Court believes these values are derived
from criminal activities.
- The Appealed Court of ruled out that they may have
managed to save some of this from their legal income, "the
verdict.
Five of the defendants, who are brothers, are also found
guilty of criminal law provision on organized crime, the
so-called mafia section 60A.
The elder brother has been sentenced to prison for five
years, 2nd brothe (31) is sentenced to five and a half
years.
The third brother (29) is sentenced to nine months in
prison, five months is conditional. Brother number four (25)
are also sentenced to nine months in jail.
The fifth brother (22) is sentenced to one year and nine
months in jail, of which nine months are suspended.
The mother of the brothers was in the prior court acquitted,
but the High Court has sentenced her for having the some of
the money. Her husband is sentenced to one and a half years
in prison, one year is conditional.
Wife of one of the brothers is sentenced to eight months in
jail. The case started with a large-scale police action in
2007,
