Former
Iranian diplomat hopes for asylum in Norway
|

Oslo, Jan 23, 2010 –
Iranian former diplomat, Mohammad Reza Heydari who is
reported resigned from the diplomatic position by submitting
his application before the Norwegian authorities hopes for
awarding of asylum in Norway.
It was reported in
Norwegian media that he resigned from his post at Iranian
embassy in Oslo in December last year to show his protest
against the violence on opposition demonstrations recently
while the embassy spokesman has said, he was already on
leave after finishing his mission in Norway.
The diplomat had been
worked in the consul section of the embassy for last more
that two years. He remain lives in Oslo with his wife and
two children at the moment to see possible response on his
asylum application.
