– Thousands of the Norwegian passengers including Norwegian Pakistanis
were stopped due to closure of the airports in the country in the
recent days.
Beside the other, Pakistan bounded PIA’s flights
also could not arrive or departure in the four days in Oslo. The
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has three flights in a week and
due to operation held the people face the problems. A number of the
Norwegian Pakistanis in their parents’ land are waiting the situation
to be cleared in Norway. The airports in Norway and other European
countries are closed due to volcano’s problem during the week.
The airspace over
Southern Norway and Northern Europe was Saturday still blocked for all
air travel, while in Northern Norway permission for limited air travel
is still in force for the time being.
According to the
Norwegian Meteorological Institute, weather conditions Saturday are
much the same as Friday.
On Sunday the
amount of volcanic ashes in the air is expected to be slightly
less also over Southern Norway, but with higher levels expected again
on Monday and Tuesday.
