A Norwegian Comedian made a drama to burn the Quran but avoided by saying, the book would have more power, if I put it on fire.

Oslo, May 31, 2008 -- A Norwegian Comedian with Pakistani origin in a stage show  at Norwegian Town set to burn Quran, the Holly Book of Islam but she avoided to do it by saying, burning of the Quran can cause more power to the book. 32 year Old, Shabana Rehman is famous for her controversial attitude towards Islam and Muslims. According to the media reports, the stage show was held  recently at Lillehammer in the context of a cultural festival.  

At the inaugural session of the show at Lillehammer, she was received by cheers but when she picked up a lighter and Quran in other hand and said, this is Quran. People present at the hall became surprised and totally silent. Then eying the Quran, she started to say, there are many books in the world but this book has more power. Indicating towards Quran and holding one corner of the Holly Book, she kept quite a while and then turning her eyes to the participants said, if I burn the book then, it would be come more powerful. Addressing the people she concluded, “do not worry, I shall not burn the book.”

 Then she put the Quran on the table and turned off the lighter. According to the media’s reports, such event was a amazed occasion for the people and even one of the participants said, if she had started to burn the book, I was ready to cool the fire by putting my jacket on it. This was a very shocking event for not only Muslims of Norway but it also  a large number of the Norwegians expressed concern on that.
